TRAIL RIDES

Join us for a scenic tour of some of best trails in our area.  During the summer, we'll ride the Larkin State Bridle Trail or the trails at Steep Rock.  Larkin state is a converted railway, and runs more than ten miles through beautiful wooded areas.  Steep rock takes us on a longer ride through Washington, Connecticut.  One of the oldest land trusts in the state, we'll ride along rivers through some of the most pristine country.

Right here in our own back yard, we boast hundreds of acres of conservation land, which make for a wonderful ride.  Mendell's Folly in Bethany and the adjoining Property at Veteran's Memorial Park encompasses more than 150 acres.  Ride through historic forests with spectacular opportunities to view wildlife from White Tail Deer to Beaver.
